I’m also broke af bc of covid -.-Īnyway, does anyone have an idea on how I can go about to fix it? I am open to suggestions and am definitely willing to try my hand at fixing this… or maybe not lol I really don’t want to make it any worse. Its like I never even replaced my screen.

I have a 2017 Macbook pro 13 inch and once I set it up it works perfectly as I am typing right now. BUT thats not the point, I highly recommend you buying this screen. Had to hook it up to my TV to use instead. I’m going back to school in a couple weeks and I definitely don’t want to deal with this as it’s highly uncomfortable and distracting. Well after punching my LCD screen it had a crack and it was all black. I didn’t purchase warranty but it has already been over a year since I bought it anyway. Like I find myself opening and using it at awkward angles where my screen looks normal. Everything else works just fine, but it’s so uncomfortable to look at. What is this 'Flexgate' issue Flexgate is an unofficial term for display backlight related issues caused by a fractured display flex cable. I unplug from power adaptor and move it to the other side of me and this issue began occurr. Now, every time I move the screen (like when I adjust it when I’m sitting at a desk versus my couch or bed) it changes color or glitches? Sorry I don’t know the technical terms.
